This looks great, and this project looks amazing! I def like the choppier animation for retro stuff, but honestly I don’t really like high framerates in games in general so I don’t know if that’s specifically useful

Omg, so much the same. Figuring out I can’t write out pages and panels like a “normal” comic script was a major step for me, but now turning my screenplay-like script *into* pages and panels is the hardest part of all, and it honestly feels BAD bad to do, because I keep thinking it could be better

It helps so much! It’s always really useful to me to see different ways each step can look, both for ideas to try and reassurance that it’s okay to find my own way. These are really inspiring, and even though they’re sparse they have a lot of life in them, that’s so cool

I FEEL YOU I had a meltdown trying to thumbnail chapter two of my comic, then came back to it a few days ago and made a little ground but it was deeply challenging. Ymmv but I found it helpful to remind myself that I don’t have to do it the “best” way or the “right” way, I just have to do it?

Right?! I get so frustrated when someone turns out to be awful and some people need to pretend that their work was always all bad. If only it were that easy! Having to sit with the fact that a toxic person can still make something beautiful and human is a real challenge, but worth it I think

This is beautiful, I love it! The dark spots on light body and light spots on darker tentacles balance is so visually satisfying and the composition just keeps pulling my eye around and around and not letting it go in the best way (and good job, crawling out is so hard and I’m proud of you!)
