With everything going on atm I am increasingly appreciative of our #knitting community that remains welcoming and safe, and the events that bring us together like the #stornowaysweater KAL organized by the lovely @youngfolkknits.bsky.social. I am knitting mine in some @coasttocoastyarnco.bsky.social

Those cables are gorgeous 😍

The striping on this ball of yarn makes me think it would look great as a sock, but might be a bit too busy for a bigger project. But in the end, I would suggest trusting your gut on whether you'd wear this as a top. In any case, I am excited to see what you end up making! 😊

Thank you! ❤️ I hope you do give it a try. It's not very difficult and makes for a wonderfully squishy fabric.

As we’re enjoying some cold days here at the moment, I am cozying up with my #knitting and the recently cast-on #windermeresweater. The Half Fisherman’s rib and the super-soft yarn are creating a beautifully squishy fabric and I cannot wait to wear this sweater on future cozy winter days.
