Today, in the process of making floof from the locks, I took skin off my knuckle. Wouldn't be a problem, but of course it is the finger I use to tension and manipulate my knitting yarn... of course 😭

A loose ball of natural/off white yarn that is very thick and thin and over and under spun.

I made yarn! First ever ball and it’s a mess of over and underspun but I’m really happy with it. It’s Leicester cross breed fleece, spun in the grease and washed after plying (2ply)

First finished project of 2026. The Simpler Sinister Cat Sweater by An Caitin Beag made in an adult 8 for my little human because my tension is insane so its finished dimensions are that of the size 5 in childrens. Yeah.. that’s a thing. Fits her perfectly. Yet to be blocked.

Day 22 of #artadventcalendar. This price of weaving was the final result of a 4 shaft weaving course and is a mix of cotton, cottolin, and linen. It will eventually be made into a bag but I’m still very happy with how it turned out as a fabric.

I sculpted this large humpback whale last year, and it found a new home through Bsky! Made from coarse paper mache which I really love sculpting with due to the organic surface texture it gives you. Painted with acrylics.
