Found out that AUTO from WALL-E looked like this originally… absolutely uninspiring glad he changed 👎👎👎

It’s not BAD but the wheel design is distinct while this is just another humanoid robot. Plus this loses the ‘control of the ship’ aspect inferred from the wheel design.

Really my ONLY dislike about the movie is that the main character gets ‘rewarded’ with a woman at the end, but I see it more as a product of its time than anything.

I think Barbie was good but the Lego movie is legit one of the best animated movies of all time. It’s crazy how good it is. The art/animation style is fantastic. The real life/lego world parallel is genius. The subversion of the ‘chosen one’ trope is inspiring.

I randomly remembered this old game (BittyBay) and found out there was a remaster of it so I tried it. By coincidence the developer was testing it as I joined! We chatted for 30mins~ they were nice. They let me change my username. I will monitor the progress on the Discord from time to time.

I love how the alien in Nope (2022) doesn’t even look like it’s made out of flesh and blood or an alien equivalent.
