New paper!!! 🎉 I am very happy to share our paper published in JCPP Advances! 🎉
Our findings suggest that targeting specific sleep problems, such as bedtime anxiety, may improve interventions for children’s emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The (very adorable) reason cats prefer sleeping on one side | BBC Science Focus Magazine A catnap is a one-sided experience, according to science

Cats prefer sleeping on their left side, because it optimises lateralised brain function on waking so they are ready to make mischief. My cat, however, sleeps belly up. Always somewhere toasty and inconvenient www.sciencefocus.com/science/the-...

Insufficient Sleep Among US Adolescents Across Behavioral Risk Groups This study examines national trends in insufficient sleep from 2007-2023 and whether trends differed by demographic or behavioral risk subgroups.

A new study shows 77% US teens aren’t getting enough sleep, driven by a worrying rise in <5h sleepers (16%→22%).Its a trend we’re also tracking in the UK with our AdSleep study. @beckcrowley.bsky.social @jakketamminen.bsky.social @alice-gregory.bsky.social jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...
