After I had given the exam, I had a little time to kill. It was raining as well. I went to a nearby small park which had many roses.
Wish I had taken more pics because the colors were stunning and unique. Does anyone know what the name of this one is?

A picture of a 'Summer Blues' Delphinium plant. It has purple and blue flowers clover shaped flowers on a mound of lacy green foliage. It's in a Michigan summer garden.

'Summer Blues' Delphinium. This variety only grows 15" tall. Butterflies, hummingbirds & bees love it.🌱

🌱 Fragrant lilies brighten long workdays at the farm.
Someday, these too will be discovered abandoned - and someone might wonder, “who planted these invasive yellow lilies, and what were their lives like...?”
A Stella cherry tree loaded with cherries!!
10 years after planting this tree in our little back yard, we’re finally getting a bumper crop!!

Nature has launched its seventh global survey of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) doctoral students, which will probe graduate students’ views about their goals and challenges, and their experiences of their studies so far. Survey runs until June 11. #Academicsky 🧪
Another interesting thing about 2017 OF201 is that it's big...relatively speaking. It's nearly 1/3 the size of Pluto, potentially large enough to qualify as a dwarf planet -- and there are probably dozens of others like it hidden out there in the dark. 🧪

I found a pest in my garden nibbling on cucumber vines. I am posting a picture so that you can identify one on your own garden 🌱
A photo of a rose in bloom, showing off orange/apricot tones with a lighter rich yellow peaking through in the center. My favorite for growth!
A photo of a rose in bloom with pale soft pink and apricot tones, a gentle buttery yellow center, making the simple double flower appear lit from within. My favorite for beauty!
A photo of a rose that is a deep magenta with red tones. It stands out against a lighter new growth foliage. This is Steve's favorite for color. It is the only non peach rose I have in the garden!
A photo of a pale peachy apricot colored rose showing a perfect deeply cupped form. This is my favorite for smell. If you have never experienced the smell of Jude the Obscure I heartily recommend it! I have two in my garden and one is by the front door for guests to enjoy when they walk past.
Roses! These are all David Austin, Lady of Shallot, the Lark Ascending, Munstead Wood, and Jude the Obscure! All smell heavenly, repeat bloom, and have a beautiful cupped shape. 🌱
Yellow columbine bloom against a green background.
A columbine bloom faces its yellow trumpet down, trailing a few orange petals pointing skyward.

🌱 Today’s garden highlight: 3 shades of columbine.
You just know he's going to blow it all on squeaky toys & catnip.

These albums by Audioslave, Four Tet, Sleater-Kinney, and Common were released 20 years ago today. 💿 Which is your fave?
That is wonderful!
Here's Begonia 'Lana', a Cane-like Superba type of hybrid Begonia with olive green & grayish serrated angel wing leaves. Blooms: profuse, rose-pinkish red. Origin: Peter P. Lee, CA, 1957. Published: 1973. This begonia makes a great house plant, easy care. Does well in greenhouse, too. 🌱 #begonias
Circe stands in front of an island mountain, surrounded by flowers and greenery, with the sun behind her head. She is wearing a blue dress and has her hands clasped before her, and has a determined expression.
I had the honor of illustrating the Folio Society's illustrated edition Madeline Miller's "Circe," a book that is very dear to me and has been a favorite of mine since it came out. Feels a bit surreal, tbh 👀

I love that book! Beautiful work! Have to pick up the Folio edition. 😍😍😍
Once again, you are right on point!
