The Space Week SSTV Saturday Update reports nearly 1,000 image submissions to the gallery on day 1. The event features ARISS Series 29 - World Space Week with 12 images using PD120 encoding, broadcast at 145.800 MHz worldwide. Submit images for a certificate at ariss-usa.org/ARISS_SSTV/. The remaining schedule includes normal SSTV transmissions on Sat/Sun, a break for a New Jersey contact on Mon (13:30-17:00 UTC / 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM ET), normal transmissions on Tue/Wed, and an end by 10:00 UTC (6:00 AM ET) on Thu for a scheduled contact. Note that times may change due to spaceflight activities.
World Space Week is now officially underway and the ARISS SSTV event is into day 2!
Get out this weekend or early next week and capture some images from space. All the information you need is in the graphic below.

The Space Week SSTV Event, Series 29, begins on October 3, 2025, featuring 6 images transmitted from the ISS on 145.800 MHz using PD120 encoding. Transmissions occur in two windows for a school event, with tentative times: - **First Window**: Oct 3-4, Start Fri 14:00 UTC (10:00 AM Eastern), End Sat 10:00 UTC (6:00 AM Eastern). - **Second Window**: Oct 4-6, Start Sat 11:00 UTC (7:00 AM Eastern), End Mon TBD. The same images will be sent in both windows.
