There has been discussion of English translation for quite a long time, but so far the matter has not progressed. The Finnish edition of the book was already published in 2022. Hopefully, the English translation can be accomplished sometime in the near future.

Tutkijamme @ottolatva.bsky.social on selvittänyt, miten suomalaiset ovat suhtautuneet punkkeihin ennen ja nykyään.

Punkkeihin liitettiin 1800-luvulla erilaisia uskomuksia, joista yhden mukaan puuvilla kasvaa sille korkeudelle, jolle punkki on puraissut nuorta neitoa.
