It was crusty and rusted, but the bullseye design was clear - faintly reading “NYC Transit Authority.”

Disclaimer: I own a small collection of NYC tokens, all accounted for and stored safely. This one is not from my collection. 2/3

Mowing my yard, I spotted a rusty piece of metal. I always remove anything that could smash a window… and dug up a NYC Transit Authority “Bullseye” token from 1986 - in California, 3,000 miles from NYC. 1/3

Thanks. I was attempting to see if this looks good. The stroke on the map is 18 point so I divided among the 4 strokes on the SW loop and 5 strokes on the NE loop. (20x30 print). I’m not sure if one can view these colors clearly thou’

…Red and Blue are separate subway lines, and Skokie doesn’t go down there. The other colors (gray) represent Loop service.

My next project, I will figure out full color lines, if that doesn’t work for the loop, I’d go with Loop inset.
