Pats fire Mayo after finishing 4-13 in lone season The Patriots have fired coach Jerod Mayo after one season, the team announced Sunday.

I feel bad for Mayo who was let go after one year as coach. He inherited poor personnel and was not set up for his success. Who were his mentors? What type of support did Kraft give him? Perhaps a stint as a full OC or DC would have helped. www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...
