Inspired by Alistair Campbell's tree of the day...except there is three. Lovely walk to a pub dating back to 1096.

The pressure of penalties. I don't really care one way or another and they're excruciating to watch!
I love the Scots.
Scotland
Thank you, that does make sense now!
I'm trying really hard to understand this but can't quite work it out - could you explain how this works?!
Tips for unlocking the gate? This is my entire life at the mo & last min adrenaline is currently my only way through, but spending the rest of my time in a stuck inertia state is annoying and boring!!!
annsautism.blogspot.com/2025/06/auti... Hurrah! New blog from me, about the positives of our lovely autistic people, and the real surprises from the last decade of research. Lots to think about.
That's why you need a PreAction Protocol letter, it should almost certainly get things moving.
If child is CSA also entitled to suitable full time education under s19 EdAct1996. Contact SOS!SEN & ask about a Pre Action Protocol letter. Most effective way to get this stuff sorted.
Duty under s.42 CFA2014 to deliver the provision in f however, ability to enforce is dependent on how quantified and specified the provision is described in F. Worth getting some specific advise from someone like SOS!SEN.

On SNJ Today: "My child's increased sensory needs mean more damage to furniture, property, clothes and more need for sensory resources" @familyfund.bsky.social's report shows the high cost of caring for a disabled child leaves some with impossible choices www.specialneedsjungle.com/c... #disability
📰💤 New autism sleep research
"... there is a necessity to investigate how living conditions, such as enforced schedules in residential facilities, can influence the timing of the sleep midpoint."

Some do, others, like my husband, stay in the middle for everything. I've found you need one of both in a relationship. Two 0-100's leads to a very rocky road!!! I think the stronger the ADHD - especially the 'H' the greater the up and down!
I hear you. I also have three children with disabilities. Cue 3 x more paperwork that is traumatic to deal with, and leads to overwhelm and freeze!!

Worth signing this...
We have two cats, neither understand their roles in intimidating the dogs. One moved next door to an ubundance of laps and food. The other just yells at us from the stairs, demanding his lift past the dogs. The dogs are wusses, it wouldn't have taken much, but when one has servants, why bother!
This looks interesting. Genuine question, where are the caseworkers getting their training from?

Interesting article re the Govt's timescales for #SEND reform - have a read: www.tes.com/magazine/new...
We are incredibly disappointed that @surreycc.gov.uk have appeared to have closed down avenues for #Surrey MPs to raise our constituents' #SEND cases with the council. We Surrey @libdems.org.uk have written to Cllr Clare Curran to share our profound concerns. ✍

This is outrageous from @surreycc.gov.uk
First they ask Govt to cancel 2025 elections, now they are attempting to close down routes to report #SEND cases for MPs.
Least we forget Surrey CC have been found wanting with SEND provision.

NEW POST: Where is the accountability in #SEND? Catriona Moore watched the latest SEND Inquiry hearings on accountability, including her IPSEA legal colleague, who emphasised that compliance shouldn’t be optional for LAs and health services www.specialneedsjungle.com/a...
Yes, parents would willingly engage in trying to resolve issues sooner but failure of LAs to send decision makers to mediation, failing to engage in it's spirit mean most of us actively avoid this as it is simply another delay to appropriate support being put in place.
The inability of Surrey's elected councillors to hold their officers to account on SEND in the borough is appalling and has been for some years. The fact that they are actively and openly refusing to engage with MPs on it now too, speaks volumes.
First they cancel elections then they shut down avenues for #Surrey MPs to engage with them on their own #SEND failures
Just how undemocratic are Surrey’s Tories?

On SNJ Today: @catrionamoore.bsky.social writes about this week's Commons Education Committee hearing, where her IPSEA colleague reminded the #SEND Inquiry that public bodies shouldn't treat legal compliance as optional when it comes to #Disabled children's education:
