During warm seasons, it vacations on my front porch where it gets great afternoon sun! I acclimate it each year by putting it out for a few hours a day, increasing until the plant is acclimated to the sun strength and it can stay outside 24/7. In cool months, it’s under a grow light inside ☺️

A small hoya carnosa ‘compacta’ in a brown 6 inch plastic pot. The plant is very young, with the longest vine being about 5 inches. The leaves are waxy and bright green with distinct folds throughout, the primary characteristic of the compacta variety.

the same hoya carnosa ‘compacta’ nearly 2 years later - it has about 5-6 different vines with 3 of them being more than 2.5 feet long when fully extended! It is hanging on my front porch in the evening sun.
