From what I've seen the main translation difference is Frog speaking in a very corny "ye olde forsooth" dialect in the original. He still speaks formally in the new translation but IMO it's more natural while keeping the charm

Just played for the first time on Steam. DS and Steam have about 20 mins of Toriyama-style anime cutscenes at important story moments and a couple bonus postgame dungeons I personally didn't feel an urge to do. Steam had a seemingly random chance to crash between screens but autosaved simultaneously

Smash 6 really should be indie focused IMO, they aren't topping Ultimate. Keep the most staple Nintendo characters but reverse the dynamic. Pick from the huge amount of beloved low budget games and give them the big budget treatment. Seems a lot more interesting, valuable and unpredictable to me

Backloggd but specifically for bosses. Rate them on fun, uniqueness, flashiness, difficulty, plot relevance etc. They're often the best/most difficult parts of games that have them, so could be useful for figuring out if it's worth persevering. Would need a solid spoiler tagging system though
