Idk if this makes sense but a high quality italian pasta and high quality noodles are comparable, but low quality italian pasta is much worse than low quality noodles if that makes sense?
Like one of those 5 minute cup noodles or cup pasta I mean.
High ground, low ground, and walls are useful when attacking but that's not it!
They help you reload, charge, and plan your next move with less risk.

I'd post a screencap from combat but combat is actually pretty intense and difficult so I don't really have any screencaps mid combat. But combat is good, platforming is also fun in my personal opinion. The characters are fun, the story goes to some pretty dark places at times but I enjoy that.
Homura and Ann having accidentally barged in on a giant demon who was changing and got mad at them so they just awkwardly left the room instead of fighting it. Ann: "We must look like creeps right now."
Cursed doll Akane (a red color coded child who along with her yellow and blue color coded friends have been making Homura's life miserable for the last like 50 minutes of gameplay) giving Homura a "good girl stamp" instead of the item she needs. "Yaaay, you win! Here's your good girl stamp!"
Homura Hime is great. Incredible combat, all the bosses feel super unique, even very basic enemies feels memorable and the game has a very strong visual style and great audio and music. It also is often very funny despite the hints of something darker in the story. I am only on chapter 3 so far tho.

I think more games need to put these Sonic rails in them.

Went back on biped legs after using tetrapod for a while since I realized my current weapon loadout did not benefit much from being on a tetra.
I think the experience has made curtis grow on me a LOT though.
