Comparing the terrier to my 0-8-0 really shows how small it is in comparison!

My latest acquisition that I’m very happy about, a Vulcan kit o scale terrier. It’s beautifully built, just need to replace the missing buffers and coupling, but other than that it’s perfect and very well detailed! It’s going to have a bit of an overhaul before it will run good again.

Took some time to fix up the paint on this locomotive. Gave her some new decals too and added my own special touches. Really happy with how she’s looking now, she will look great running down the line!

A great new addition to my collection, a oo scale McGowan metal kit of a LNER D49 named The Fitzwilliam. Fully lined and painted to a high standard, just a few chips that need touching up. It’s just a beautiful loco in the fully lined apple green. Needs a little work but it’s great

Over the years, having a branch line to himself began to get to Thomas' funnel.
"I was chosen to run this line," he boasted to Gordon, "The most important line in the whole railway!"
Gordon didn't pay much mind, for Thomas was still a little engine with a long tongue

I’m guessing it’s a Baldwin RS-4-TC, I’ve been working on a model of my own for one of these locomotives and I recognized its shape from your 3D model.

Took the wagons and chassis for another but better test run, and everything is running great!

It’s loosely based on the Hudswell Clarke 0-4-0 design with a similar setup. The complete model will look similar to this too but will be more of a loose interpretation with a more freelanced design to it.

It’s not perfect, but it’s a lot better than I anticipated and is looking good. Still needs a bit of running in time too

I’ve started work on building an o scale diesel locomotive, and to start it off I made the chassis. Made using an f-unit motor bogie with added parts designed and printed by me. It’s a small chassis but it came out nice, and it runs good too

I also like these colorful trucks, and I plan to make many more of them and some private owner wagons too!

The wagon chassis also had new metal axles, better wheel prints, and better axle box prints so it rolls a lot smoother and has less resistance then the old design

I’ve been working on redoing my o scale ttte models since I didn’t scale them correctly. Here is the new rescaled 7 plank. Most of the files by JamosTrainos, with some mods done by me. Also my first hand painted lettering attempt. Very happy with the new more accurate model.

It really isn’t a bad idea using springs on the wheels in theory, and some have done it right, but the execution of it on this model has instead hindered its performance. Thankfully it’s simple enough to fix, but still unfortunate.

After cutting a bit off of the springs the jinty is sitting more level and running a lot better. Since the springs kept the traction tires off the rails bringing them down has greatly improved their performance. Electrical connection also seems to have improved.

Got myself a new hornby oo jinty for cheap. I really like tank engines like this, and I’m happy to have a new jinty model. It does have an issue where there are springs on the rear drivers that are lifting the rear, but that should’ve a simple fix. It’s a great runner though.

Recently got these similar BR coaches. What I found interesting about them is that one is ho scale and the other is oo scale. Definitely interesting to really see the scale differences on a model of the same prototype.

I recently got this ho bowser hopper that had an interesting design to it that I found interesting. What was more interesting was the antigravity coal load! I understand why it is made this way, but I just found it funny when I saw it. Still a great and interesting model.

A fantastic book about a really useful railway! It’s a great read with lots of great notes and information about the railway series, and I’ve read it already a few times over and looked through it even more times. So happy to have a copy!

Here are two oo hornby brake vans I got in a lot of wagons. The one in rougher shape was painted and weathered to make it look nicer. It’s amazing what a bit paint and weathering can do to a cheap and simple model
