A scam email! The sender is a vaguely worded gmail.com address, not from kickstarter.com. The email tantalisingly reads: "At Kickstarter, our mission is to empower creators by providing the platform, tools, and community they need to bring their ideas to life. While reviewing promising projects on our platform, we identified your upcoming project as a standout. We’re impressed with your work and would love the opportunity to feature your project in our Kickstarter Promotional Newsletter. However, before this can be finalized, your campaign needs to be fully aligned with Kickstarter’s guidelines and best practices to ensure optimal visibility and performance on the platform. To support you in achieving this, we will connect you with one of our trusted marketing agencies that specializes in aligning selected projects to meet these requirements. Once your project is launched, this will also provide an opportunity for it to be featured on the Kickstarter homepage, increasing visibility and exposure to potential backers and supporters. If you’re interested in exploring this opportunity, simply reply “Connect,” and we’ll be happy to share the next steps. Thank you for being a valued member of the Kickstarter community. We’re here to support you every step of the way. Kind regards, Kickstarter Community Support" sounds nice! it's a lie.
