Aside from being something you could cut completely from the plot and it not making a jot of difference.

Which was a "huh?" moment, agreed.

Good flight, Jon!

Pretty much. I don't mind the ending being a downer: it's actually slightly delicious. But it does also feel a little cynically like setting up a sequel. There's just an overall lack of internal logic. It pretends to be a time travel film, but it can't be.

Watched "Good Luck Have Fun Don't Die". Which purports to be a time travel movie...but clearly isn't. So I don't know what it is, really. There's more "Huh?" holes in this than a Swiss Cheese, so best not to scrutinise the plot too hard if you want a good time. A lot of fun, but...hmmm. #filmsky

A "massive, thematic, old-fashioned fantasy adventure" score, "that you find in scores like Basil Poledouris’s Conan the Barbarian, James Horner’s Krull, or perhaps something like Lee Holdridge and Robert Folk’s Beastmaster scores."

I'm SO there! And I need to know what the visuals are like, too!

Pfffh. No. I don't think people really understand how many scripts are generated. There were several different drafts of that Rogue Trooper project.
I read two. They were both awful.

I'd watch all four of those, happily.

Yeah, I'm not an Excalibur fan. But I do like Zardoz, although I definitely don't think my focus is on "Cult" films. Deliverance is probably his best film, although The Tailor Of Panama is a guilty pleasure. I'm just really not a fan of a lot of his direction, which is a bit ham-fisted.

It's a decent movie.

What do you mean?

Isn't the dot in the circumference text in the wrong place? It should be before "mosquito", and "mosquito" needs orienting around on the other side. "South Cook County Mosquito" isn't coherent.

Oh. That'd be way further down the list. It's fine, I like it, but I'd take both versions of Dawn Of The Dead over it.

Dirty Harry and Taking Of Pelham 123...what's the one below?

I genuinely prefer the Mel Gibson version. The older I get, the more I feel Boorman as a whole is WAY too overrated.

Road Games is GREAT.

12 Horror Movies to get to know me.

Back in the '90s I did a little "The Project Is Collapsing...Help Us!" work on a version of "Rogue Trooper" for Joel Silver. (The Warner studio head hated Silver so it was never going to happen.)

I'm naturally curious about this. But I'm hoping it's early in the movie, and Rogue gets more blue...

That's a delicate and intelligent one today, Bruce.
