RIP Reinhold Wittig, one of the big gaming pioneers in Germany has sadly passed away.
In the 80s he was THE small indie-publisher, who established the "tube cames", i.e. games in a cube here.
Also his artwork of games like Müller&Co is one of the best until today.

I think 1889 is all right 2p, but it gets better with 3 or 4. At 5 it starts to get a bit too chaotic I find. So, if possible get an extra player, but if this is your first try of 18xx and you can only get one other player, then it’s still worth a go, just to get a feel for the genre. 🙂👍
