It's finally done! As soon as I found this crochet pattern I knew I had to make one to match my actual bird! 🩶💚💙

This took months to finish, and I kept having to pause and wait for the next color to arrive, but I'm so thrilled with the end result! 🧶

My biggest surprise coming into the games industry was just how many of us there are here.

I made the Feather Wing Shawl by Megan Lapp for my partner, and now I'm working on one for myself that will match my actual bird 😊

I also tried several times at various points in my life before it clicked. Genuinely, it was a Woobles kit that finally did it for me.

Their step by step videos are really well done and include little things like the difference between working into a chain vs later rows (which I'd been stuck on)

When I started crochet, I would count stitches as I went, using stitch markers along the way in case I lost count.

Then I realized I could count out the stitches *first* and mark the end point. I can go much faster now 😅

Anyone else have similar craft-skill-unlocks?
