I was completely unable to find Neo's Jakks figure in-store and missed his sale on BigBadToyStore which people bought in bulk. Scalpers make collecting a pain & Jakks Pacific aren't doing the right thing by reprinting him for future waves.

I had to use eBay...

Neo had like no merch except a Finesse Skateboard & it's Tech Deck counterpart at the time, and I figured we were never going to get anything for him.

Even First4Figures said they're considering making Neo Metal Sonic but that won't be for YEARS!

Unfortunately, he arrived damaged from transit and has a clean break on his right leg that requires fixing, you can't notice it in the photos.

I want to do more photos and a turnaround video once he's repaired.

I hope you like it as much as I do!

SNMS & NMS in general had no official figure/statue at the time of making this. The Jakks Pacific figure wasn't a thing yet!

I always wanted something of Neo Metal Sonic for years, so this was always a "dream" project of mine!

It also wouldn't be complete without an LED light!

Even down to the paint details, I made sure to get this piece as close as possible to the way I wanted.

Down from the chrome metal limbs and mouth to the sports-car metal flake finish for a premium look!

All intentional by design!

At close, you can see the pretty holographic metal flakes!

SMNS' 3D model is completely done from scratch.

I cooperated with the 3D modeler to help design it.

Giving them references, going into Photoshop back & forth to refine the design, pose, & proportions of the character. I also designed the base, inspired by the Master Emerald alter in these scenes.

Initially, the original plan was to make Neo Metal Sonic who first debuted in Sonic Heroes (2003). However for this project, I took it a step further and decided to do SNMS who debuted in IDW Sonic #9.
