I feel bad enough bringing on one of my camera bags then half the plane has two bigger items.
The Europeans have this one right, and they board a plane in 20 minutes without yelling at anyone.
Black and white photo of the approach to a stone castle. The driveway is shiny with water, and a flock of birds is crossing in the sky above. Trees line either side.
It was raining on and off when we visited Glamis Castle, which gave a nice shine to the approach. A flock of birds decided to photobomb across the sky above.

Happy Patriot's Day.
Here's a shot I took of the Paul Revere reenactment on April 15, 2013. It was in the morning, on the Somerville/Medford city line.
I had no idea at the time what the rest of that week would become in Greater Boston.

Eh I don't think we've been far off 20-30% since 2009 or so, the big number only counts people who are looking.
A big cluster of wavy brown mushrooms next to a tree stump.
Came across this big mass of wavy mushrooms when walking around the grounds of Glengarry Castle.

I walked around all the accessible parts of the ship at 4am and didn't see anyone for like 40 minutes. Sadly, the engine room was closed.
Night photo looking up at two lifeboat gantry arms on the Queen Mary
Without the boats in place, the lifeboat gantry arms on the Queen Mary look like something off a giant robot.

This angle reminds me of some of the shots of Edoras in the LOTR movies.
Hmm those rocks don't look geologically right for AK
I used to call this stuff "National League bullshit" because it seemed more prevalent at NL parks (granted 20+ years ago).
Eilean Donan castle with the sun almost shining through the clouds behind it and some lens flare from water droplets.
The sun almost peeked through behind Eilean Donan, and the water drops on my lens lit up in the light.

Photo of Stirling Castle in Scotland taken from afar with hills and low clouds behind and autumn foliage in front.
This long view of Stirling Castle let me include the hills and low clouds in the background.

Are you jellin?
Like your own natural infinity pool in the foreground.
A tall and thin waterfall in a forested canyon, viewed from below.
Climbed down into the valley to get this view upwards at Plodda Falls. It was a slippery walk that day but the view was worth it.
Is #WaterfallWednesday a thing on here?

The Big Arch to its CEO
Of real places I've been, I had the strongest feeling in some Venetian plazas that "oh this is where the good theme park designers learned proportions and sightlines".
Photo of three bridges taken from the side, a steel rail bridge, a suspension bridge, and a cable-stayed bridge.
A different angle on the three Forth bridges, with the flat part of the rail bridge in the foreground.

What sort of business does Dick Driller run? Wrong answers only.
Skull Rock in Joshua Tree National Park, with a sunstar on its upper left side.
Caught a second "sunrise" as the sun cleared the edge of Skull Rock in Joshua Tree National Park.
I only had a chance for a short visit, and I'd like to go back.

Solid prediction
I got caught in some good squalls in both May and October last year.
None in Botswana but it wasn't too far above freezing in the morning and it did threaten some out of season rain.
A white castle building standing in a green valley, with snow blowing in the air.
Corgarff Castle stood lonely in the hills of the Highlands, with snow blowing around so hard that it was hard to stand.

Fencing seems like a fun one
I had one friend who was always borrowing one of my zip disks and somehow never returning them.
The two ends are slightly different but it's not super obvious.
