MWC Barcelona wrapped last week and we’re still buzzing from the conversations around our demo. Together with the European Space Agency (ESA) we showcased an astronaut training sample using real-time multiplayer tech + XR for collaborative training. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

Supporting a persistent realm with precise combat, deterministic simulation, complex AI behavior and seamless drop in play is a hard technical challenge, and it is exactly the kind of problem Quantum was designed to solve.
The focus is on long term cooperation rather than temporary sessions, with combat, loot, and progression designed around teamwork. It also introduces smarter and more challenging enemies, new AI behaviors, and friendly fire, encouraging coordination and role based play.
This update introduces a shared cooperative experience where up to four players inhabit the same persistent realm. Progress, crafting, housing, and world changes are shared, and the realm remains accessible even when the original creator is offline.
We want to congratulate the team at Moon Studios on the release of the Together Update for #NoRestfortheWicked. We are especially proud that this shared world experience is built on Photon Quantum and we have been working on this with the team since 2018.
