Really freaked people out once just outside the gate of our town's baseball park. And in college some of my friends and I would play Starsky & Hutch in the mall parking lot, rolling over the hoods of the cars of strangers and popping up with imaginary guns pointed. We were weird. π

Hey, nothing wrong with bed rails.
I've always been really good at falling myself. Just a knack for knowing how, I guess. Never got hurt. Of course in my old age I'm not taking chances, but back in the 70s/80s I could let a car come up slowly and throw myself back as though I'd been struck. πβ¬οΈ
π My bed is against a wall, so no problem on that side. Usually I seem to be in the center and often my right leg kind of hangs over the edge of the bed. I guess if I started to fall my foot would hit the floor first. π€·ββοΈπ
Miyagi was the man! Wax on, wax off. π
That's a cool little contraption. I'll have to get me one of those. π
Isaac experiences The Grateful Dead for the first time.
I saw them at The Mothership in '81. In fact, it was the show that got Hampton Coliseum dubbed "The Mothership" in the first place. One of those magical shows where they took it to the next level.

π I saw Jaws 3-D in the theater and never did get it in focus. π
All those stupid Friday the 13th, Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street sequels turned me off horror movies. I still avoid the slashers with masked lunatics. I can enjoy a good gothic horror or sci-fi horror or something original.
Oh, wow. That must have been a bit worrying. Glad it doesn't seem to be anything serious. It is strange how sleep position can affect you. I'm a side sleeper (usually the left side, which they say is best for your heart), but now and then will turn to the right. In the past I've had arm soreness.
Ralph Bellamy!
Viewer backlash has led MeTV to return Hogan's Heroes to its daily lineup, although not in the double episode time slot at 10 p.m. It will now air a single episode at 6 p.m. every weeknight, replacing an episode of M*A*S*H (which still gets 3 episodes).

So how many have you seen? I think I count 16 for me, although there are a few I may just choose not to remember. I grew tired of the Jason, Freddy and Police Academy sequels. π

Tonight's cold open from Saturday Night Live UK. The MI5 plan to make future King Charles look good (with special agent Prince Andrew). π
Live from London, it's Saturday Night!

Dang. Twelve tons of Formula 1 branded KitKat bars? Those thieves are some chocoholics! I mean, seriously. Give me a break!

I do that too! When I was a lot younger and had very quick hands, I used to catch flies and release them outside.
That's a great resource. I need to bookmark it. Thanks! Even newer movies where I know the stuff isn't real can trigger me for sure.
True. It was more to up the thrilling nature of the entertainment. As you know, I'm a huge fan of old westerns, but often the abuse horses endured for those dramatic spills and such...well, I hate to think about it.
π Absolutely!
Just think it could have seemed to come along a bit more slowly, you know. π
A well-deserved rest! π
I hate being an hour away. Used to be like nothing, but now I can't be bothered. I hate having to drive an extra 15 minutes each way for a movie at the Regals. π
Glad you got to see PHM again. It's just so good! Let me know how Forbidden Fruits goes.
Oh, my god I love that! π
Dang, I'm old. π
Tubi has a ton of cool stuff. This one is a bit difficult for me, though, because of the cruelty of staging animal stunts. No SPCA monitoring the film shoot!
π
I saw that Forbidden Fruits was playing out at the Virginia Beach Regal. Had only checked on it long enough to see it's listed as a "comedy horror" and the reviews are pretty decent. Surely worth seeing.
You could always get a seat a few rows behind the birthday part and throw popcorn at them. π
Philly, I love you man. π
Also, I'd really like to see some episodes of Bounty Law on MeTV. And The 14 Fists of McCluskey streaming somewhere. π
I'm generally a fan of Tarantino's movies (although I don't love everything he's done), but this one blows all the rest away for me. A fairy tale I wish had been the reality.

Hey, I've seen that movie! Like, 10 times. π
π
Always loved that one. They made a lot of fun baseball movies in those days. This one is properly goofy, but highly enjoyable. π
You did great. Love it! I'm sure Munch would approve as well. π
