Any thoughts on Claude design from designers doing enterprise software? I’ve just seen takes from people who don’t really know design

Have the sparkles emoji played out its role for indicating AI stuff? I hardly see it anymore but maybe I’m just looking in the wrong place ✨ #ai #ux #ui

Yeah, timer apps are so common I don’t see how to make a profit there. Only option I see is to solve some very specific problems for a very specific user group and hope there’s enough of them.

After a while you will notice that you are more interested in certain subjects (like realistic, or stylistic, or using nodes..) or certain phases of creation (like modeling, shading, animation, etc) and then you can focus more on those topics to not lose motivation

If a tutorial on YouTube was 30 min I could have a finished render I was happy with in 90 min on average.

Keep that in mind when doing tutorials. For me the 3x ratio has been pretty consistent.

So start with many short ones

I learned blender during the pandemic and it is just a sheer force of will thing.

I did the donut tutorial and after that I tried to do as many tutorials as possible. I did maybe 3-4 per week and it was that repetition that helped me understand how to work with it

Did apple change their keyboard autocorrect recently? It might only be in my mind but it seems worse than before. Especially when spelling non-English words.

Anyone else who have noticed this?

Someone wrote about the ”selling point” of not having to engage with people when ordering food from an app and having it delivered outside your door. Never engaging with each other.

I agree with their conclusion: ”other people are not an inconvenience, they are the whole point”

Använder den en hel del för programmeringshjälp. Den är ofta bättre på att ”söka” tekniska frågor också.

Senaste grejen jag använde den till var att göra flashcards från mina notes

I don’t think I’ve ever clicked that button since it appeared. I assumed it was some kind of content creation thing, as if I wanted to put up a song

If someone else has written about something, write about it still.

So many people have written about centering in CSS but I've got a different way of looking at it all, so I thought it's about time I actually wrote about it.

Generating Playwright Tests With AI: Let's Try the New Playwright MCP Server! YouTube video by Checkly

Does anyone have a good resource on how to create good-looking tutorial videos for a technical product? As in tooling used, hints on structuring, etc.
Something like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIlc...

I’d love to see any research on the net benefit of “streaks” - it seems like every app is hell bent on establishing streaks nowadays, whether I want it or not. I imagine for some people they’re helpful, for me, they feed perfectionism and all-or-nothing thinking and often cause me to give up.

Yes, Small Language Models looks very interesting. But they are down stream of LLMs. I hope we hit a wall soon so it becomes more important to minify and optimize smaller, more focused, models
