Jonathan Hinder doing his absolute best to make Labour an anti-LGBTQ+ Party. The fact that Labour is okay with this nonsense demonstrates how little we can trust them to defend trans people's dignity. Something they claimed they would do in their manifesto.

In response to calls to ban parties from pride for their transphobic politics, I think one thing to make note of is that if you're a politician in a transphobic party, instead of standing at pride you could speak at parliament about the shame the government's failure on trans policy brings you.

This should go without saying, given Occult Trash is a trans owned small business but Fuck TERFs, and fuck the supreme court's ruling. We're here, nothing will erase our identities no matter how facists and transphobes may try.

crucially the most important thing to take away here is that *IT DOES NOT REVOKE YOUR EQUALITY ACT PROTECTIONS*.

The perception of you, a transgender woman, as a woman is still very much enough for you to be discriminated against and bring legal action. This is expressly stated in the ruling docs.

1. LLM-generated code tries to run code from online software packages. Which is normal but
2. The packages don’t exist. Which would normally cause an error but
3. Nefarious people have made malware under the package names that LLMs make up most often. So
4. Now the LLM code points to malware.

There’s been a lot going on in relation to trans people’s healthcare in the UK. We’ll give more of a run down next week but we want to make sure people understand what’s going on.
