Who else has noticed over the past couple of seasons that the @mlb.com app on #AppleTV can’t keep track of what day it is?

The @mlb.com app recently offered a survey about the current Scoreboard view. I’m glad they’re listening! The main problem is a huge step back on information density, or efficiency, in favor of … bigness. 2025 (left, 7 games) and this years’s highest-density view (right, 6 games):

Good news! The latest build of the @mlb app restores the ability to set Scores as your default view!

Bad news! The Scores view is still terrible! Still all sorts of wasted space and very little on-screen at the same time. Boooo

It’s so bad. The Scores view has been darn-near perfect for what, closing in on 20 years now? It needs information density, it’s box scores. The two new options are comically inferior. @mlb.com *please* allow the old view as a third option, and *allow it as a default tab again too.*

How do we get @AppleTV+ and @mikeduncan.bsky.social together? I'm convinced that #TheMartianRevolution (Season 12 of Revolutions Podcast) is the next great epic TV series.

Even if that never happens, my goodness, what a blast to listen to this massive work. Bravo, Mike.

Lists and tools would be fantastic. Twitter was the first place I ever felt connected to others interested in the Olympic movement, and it became a wonderful conduit for that. I’m hopeful a critical mass of that community will move here or Threads. Soon. Or maybe they have but there are no lists!
