Open Science NL awards funding to 19 projects researching open science | Open Science NL To promote transparency and to ensure that decisions, policies, solutions, and practices are evidence-based, it is essential to conduct research on open science itself. Therefore, Open Science NL has launched a call for proposals for “Research on Open Science” and is now awarding funding to 19 projects with a total of 4.8 million euros.

CERN to host Europe’s flagship open-access publishing platform Open Research Europe | NWO The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) has been selected to host a new phase of Open Research Europe (ORE), supported by the European Commission and a new funding consortium of European national funding agencies and research organizations. NWO recently joined this consortium.

Last week, the new phase for ORE was officially announced. The consortium backing the net platform is a unique collaboration between 16 funders and institutions, and @cern.bsky.social as the operating organization.

Evaluation Committee Praises Impact of Open Science NL: “Stay the Course!” | Open Science NL On Monday 23 March, Prof. Paul Wouters - on behalf of the international evaluation committee - presented the evaluation report “Open Science NL in its formative years” to NWO President Marcel Levi. Wouters presented the report during the festive celebration of Open Science NL’s third anniversary.

On Monday, March 23, @opensciencenl.bsky.social celebrated its 3rd anniversary at Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam.

During the celebration, the evaluation report “Open Science NL in its formative years” was officially presented to NWO President Marcel Levi.
