Asking the important questions, John! This, surely is a matter of self-definition? Kent believes it is big in the same way I believe I am slim… Wont have anyone tell me otherwise!

Unleaded 95 now just 218.9 a litre, as Strait of Hormuz declared “open” by both Iran and the USA. Is it all over? Who knows, but what a deeply strange and fascinating moment in history we’ve all just experienced…
I stayed with a big group in this AirBnB when I went to Ghent for Velo-City a few years back, and it was amazing. Big garage so easy to store bikes, and close to the city centre: www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/801221...
Londoners consistently vote for breathing cleaner air, yet negative online narratives about the clean air zone, have led to the criminal cutting down of cameras in outer London and terrifying use of explosives to blow up a ULEZ camera close to people's homes.

This research caused quite a stir when published, because it pins the rise of disinformation in local politics on the yawning communications chasm between local authorities and their citizens. I agree. bsky.app/profile/gran...
Interestingly the price of Unleaded 95 is now 232.9, down 15% from the record high of 274.9 just 13 days ago, but still up 61% from the pre-war price of 169.9 a litre.
I am late to these touching tributes to Martin Parr from huge names in the art world. If, like me, you love Parr’s work then you’ll find this moving: www.theguardian.com/artanddesign...
Give it time!
WOW! Car traffic on Sydney’s arterial roads down 5%, hire bike trips up 25% last month, and bike trips on key cycleway now 3 x higher than last year: www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle...

Very interesting new research finds disinformation circulates not as facts which can be balanced with counter-facts, but as compelling narratives with deep cultural resonance. Street changers, take note! bsky.app/profile/alic...
Price of Unleaded 95 still decreasing at my local petrol station - now at 244.9, down 30c or 10% from the peak a few days ago. Apparently there is plenty of petrol available... Are we about to quietly Y2K this whole situation?

What fresh hell is this?
Hello, Earth.
NASA astronaut and Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman took this picture of Earth from the Orion spacecraft’s window, while on his way to the Moon earlier today: www.nasa.gov/image-articl...
Ha! If I wore pearls I’d clutch them.
Quentin Crisp played QEI in 1992, opposite Tilda Swinton playing the male Orlando. Usual suspects will still lose their minds though…
A shot from onboard the Artemis spacecraft deep in the blackness of night space. We see the thrusters of the spacecraft, and beside them our earth - seen as a far off crescent like the moon.
I am *obsessed* with the #Artemis2 livestream from the Orion spacecraft. Mind-blowing visuals of our incredible earth seen from space, just casually relayed via YouTube like it is the most normal thing ever... www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Rwf... #NASA #ArtemisII
Interesting! Price of Unleaded 95 has now gone down 20c a litre in 3 days (274.9 > 254.9), after the Australian government halved the duty on petrol by 26c a litre. However, still up 50% since the start of the war, and presumably likely to peak again if demand increases?
Omg this is so exciting!
What do we make of this @worldbollardassoc.bsky.social?

I am incredibly excited for the imminent #Artemis2 launch, the first crewed lunar mission for 50 years. Australia’s Deep Space Communication Complex in Tidbinbilla will be keeping the astronauts connected to earth: www.csiro.au/en/news/All/... (Just like in the film “The Dish”!)
I remember it was on Now That’s What I Call Music #13, in between Erasure’s Little Respect and Yazz’ The Only Way is Up. Bangers! We had it on in our family car for months.
Such a great track, it was EVERYWHERE in the UK when it came out!
I’m coming to London soon! 29th April is the only UK date for our “Effective Engagement for Changing Streets” in-person program for some time, and tickets are limited. Grab yours: www.trybooking.com/events/landi... 🇬🇧🚲🚶
I was last in Paris for the 2024 Olympics, and it was hugely inspiring to see how much of the city was on the move by foot, bike and public transport!
