After taking part in Energy Quest 84% of girls questioned wanted to do more practical activities in the future 75% of them wanted to learn more about STEM careers and 64% of them had become more interested in becoming an engineer
We know from our programme evaluation that girls ARE interested in STEM jobs. More needs to be done to keep them from dropping out of the education pipeline. Only 16.9% of the current engineering and tech workforce are women. Find out more about #IWD2026
