My objection is that the Haslam’s are behind this movement, they would be the owners, have the money but they are passing the burden off to the taxpayer.

However, I’m against Haslam Sports Group trying to fleece the city and the taxpayers to avoid getting out of paying for the project.

The Columbus Fury down the defending MLV champion Orlando Valkyries in a 3-0 claiming a long awaited home victory and their first win since February 22nd.

It's been nearly a month since the Columbus Fury last tasted victory. Columbus won on February 22nd against these same Valkyries.

Good evening from Nationwide Arena where the Columbus Fury welcome the Orlando Valkyries to town.

Columbus (3-14) is still in search of its first home victory of the MLV season.

The astroturfing from Haslam Sports Group is alarming.

I’m all for the NWSL, but the owners need to actually care for the players and their well being.

Not actively contribute to campaigns and politicians who work to sabotage the players healthcare.

Haslams want millions for NWSL. Columbus City Council not so sure Haslams, Ginther are pushing for $50M from city, county for a potential NWSL team. But some council members balked at such funding for billionaires.

AND THERE’S THE RUB.
Remember the Haslam’s have PLENTY of money and then some to build these facilities.

However, they want YOU to fit the bill.

I’m all for NWSL to Columbus. I’m anti ANY Haslam involvement.

January 12th the #CBJ make a coaching change to Rick Bowness and were last place in the Eastern Conference. On March 19th the Jackets collect a 6-3 victory against the New York Rangers to move into third place in the Metropolitan Division and improve their record to 17-2-4 under their new leader.
