Soccer team is first in its league with Pride jerseys for a match - Outsports The captain of the first team in Italian men's league soccer to wear Pride flags on their jerseys says players were 'united' for it.

🇮🇹⚽️🏳️‍🌈 Alessandria Calcio, Italy’s sixth oldest football club, asked their local #LGBTQ organisation if they could add its logo on their jerseys.

“They told us we were the first to do it [wear the Pride flag] in Italy. This makes us proud,” said team captain Cristian Tos. 👏
