As we celebrate #LVW26 I have been reflecting on my speech from last years debate on Lesbian Visibility Week👇
Founded in 1990 by my good friend Linda Riley, LVW has been observed annually in the UK since 2019.
Women, <10% of the Forces during the years of the ‘Gay ban’, are >50% of those dismissed during that time. Often in quite horrific circumstances, not only suffering rampant homophobia of the time but also dealing with entrenched misogyny
