Another fly I doodled up recently, but wasn't super crazy about the way it was looking with flat coloring..... so I messed around with cmyk.

First pic is the final version, I kinda like the idea of leaving the registration marks and printing info on the bottom.

Frankenstein was the first b/w movie I would borrow regularly from the library.

A desaturated blue (just glancing at green from across the street), black, and yellow-orange poster. It features Miles Caton in the middle playing his guitar, shadowed faces of Michael B. Jordan on either side of him (with the Stack character sporting the orange echoed elsewhere for his gold tooth). At the bottom, in heavy shadows, is the vampire band, and behind them, silhouettes lit by flame, are line-dancing figures with glowing eyes. Their shape suggests that a few of them are characters from the movie: Mary, Pearline, Cornbread, and Bo Chow. There are credits, an R rating, and a Warner Brother's logo at the bottom and above the film's title (done in an old timey flashy saloon font that might befit a juke joint) is the text "A film by Ryan Coogler."

Worked up a poster for Sinners - that cross section of horror movies, period pieces, and roots music checks an awful lot of my boxes, and heavens but it was beautifully made.
