If corporations are lining up to donate to the White House, there are really only two explanations: either CEOs suddenly love paying taxes voluntarily... or they're expecting something in return.

The question worth asking is simple: if they're buying, what is the White House selling?

Why do surveys show strong public support for cycle paths, but Facebookers call it “fake news”? -- "Leadership means pushing past the noise — and over the Hill of Hysteria," says a leading mobility academic. The National Transport Authority has just published the latest findings of its Walking and Cycling Index for 2025 research which led The Irish Times to report that "the vast majority of residents across the State’s five main cities want increased investment in cycling infrastructure, even when that results in less road space for cars." That and other news reports have led many on social media to cry foul!

78% of people support #Love30 being rolled out and the Minister continues to do nothing

Yet Darragh O’Brien is still looking for the magic pill to solve congestion…

Dublin’s a great city for cycling. Fairly flat, fairly compact, fairly dry (though it might not seem like that now). The only problem is that the bike lane network doesn’t reach everywhere. Delighted to see that with improvements in the network that more people are out on their bikes!

Please read this article to the end. Even before ICE got involved, this started because this *blind man who speaks no English and uses a curtain rod as a walking stick* got lost on a walk and some Karen called the police on him and they tasered and beat him bc he didn’t drop the rod. WTF

. This is the playbook used by Trump and the other pseudo-populist strongmen the world over: throw some minor economic concessions to the base (or at least claim to do so), unleash the dogs of race and gender-based hatreds, and preside over a rapid upward transfer of wealth, alongside an authoritarian concentration of power.
