Leaving the building with personal belongings in a box while shouting IT’S A CAR SHOW.
Spotted at a Wrexham roundabout - sorry guys, but VagNational? Going to be some people who turn up to that and leave disappointed when they find out it’s a car show.
Good luck!
It's sad to get Reform election communications through the post, but I have to admit to raising a smile at the reminder of the chairman being called David Bull. Talk about nominative determinism.
Interesting that in Holywell’s fantastic season, back at the top level for the first time this century, I’ve seen them four times and not really seen them play well. Although they had the kind of day where it just wouldn’t go in, and 20 inspired Brickfield minutes yielded them their goals.
Not far from the big show, Brickfield locked in their status as Wrexham’s highest placed Welsh system team. The hope here is that the club can reach more people, a half 12 kick off could have hoovered up people going to the Racecourse at 3, but it doesn’t seem to work like that sadly.
Gêm olaf y tymor yn Cymru North y Gogledd, Treffynnon ar eu ffordd i fyny ond nad heb golli oddi cartref i Brickfield #peldroed

My only trip to Coventry’s then Ricoh Arena was the opening weekend of the season in 2006. Anyone who bought a programme with a sheet detailing Operation Premiership, a 5 year plan back to the top flight where it’s an understatement to say it didn’t go to plan! Still, sometimes it all comes around.
Truly one of the finest pieces of writing from the 21st century.

One minute you’re writing FAIR TRADE on your hand on a magazine cover shoot, the next you’re curating a global sportswashing concert for an organised crime syndicate hiding in plain sight. See also Thom Yorke banging on about No Logo, and subsequently performing for a genocidal regime.
#OTD in 2005 “The Wrexham 2” went to the High Court after being served with an injunction by the then dodgy club owners. They risked, and nearly lost everything. Without them (and others) there’d be no club today. Not all heroes wear capes.
Never forget

When it comes to the international game and top level club game I don’t think there’s much to pick at anymore, just got to keep banging the drum.
Only caught bits and bobs recently, Vibe does seem to be a little more polished from what I have heard, perhaps a bit more catered for old donkeys like me music wise as well!
The Saturday teatime alt show is good on it!
After getting 6100 v Sweden a year ago I hoped for more than 4500 for this, but this one wasn't in the afterglow of the team's first qualification ever, and it would be nice to see one of these games at a weekend sometime to see how that goes. But it wasn't a damp squib.
In fairness, my stepdad’s funeral followed one that was coincidentally after one for someone else from the same village, and simply loads of people got up, walked out of the doors only to go back around and walk in again for a second, so maybe not uncommon!
One which went to plan, early looseness in possession was shaken off, before slowly creating and taking chances, and managing the game with the return in mind. You can’t replace Jess Fishlock but Mared Griffiths looks like someone who wants to do what the GOAT did, she was impressive.
Fydd tîm Cymru Rhian Wilkinson yn gwneud hanes eto? Gwaith i wneud i gyrraedd Brasil, ond gweithiodd y cynllun yn erbyn Albania yn y Cae Ras. #peldroed

They haven’t always got the process player departures right so it’s a good thing that at least they see a role in fixing those players up with something.
I did see that they had the rug pulled from under them by NEWFA although CWFA now run a league where Berriew have a second team as well as their Adran North team, albeit it’s chaotic looking league. Just when there were signs of greater cooperation between FAW/WFC this can only drive a wedge.
Nid ydy pethau’n berffaith wrth gwrs, ond tystiolaeth am y syniad mae rhyfel oer ieithyddol wedi dod i ben (heblaw criw o bobl sy’n marw’n araf). Dych chi’n gallu dychmygu pobl fel Jarvis Cocker, Suzanne Vega neu’r Wiggles yn siarad/canu Cymraeg yn 1990?
I’m pretty sure it comes from match revenue, UEFA distribution etc rather than that. It is generally a cash strapped union, reaching the World Cup would have made millions aaaand…that’s gone now. There isn’t an easy fix but it’s also been a situation years in the making, it shouldn’t have ended here
There are logistical issues with anything national in Wales that would defy belief, and it’s a big ask for semi pro clubs to commit to it BUT it’s the job of the governing body to find an answer, not just condemn a group of players to their teams not playing.
It’s not good enough to offer the northern teams nothing at all and just leave it at that. In fairness to CQ I would say they are absolutely a serious team but a move to England won’t be open to them. Got a feeling this will be quoted back at the FAW in a few years - it’s crap.
Na fydd cwyno am Harry Styles ar sioe @rhysmwyn.bsky.social yma - gormod o weithiau dw i wedi clywed caneuon ofnafwy ar y radio ond wedyn yn meddwl “dyma cân eitha da” cyn iddyn nhw ddweud bod Harry ydy’r canwr 🤣
It doesn’t say that they aren’t running an under 19 South league, which suggests that the southern teams won’t make three trips north, even if the northern teams are prepared to travel south more often than that, which is a tale as old as Welsh sporting time.
The FAW get some banal criticism but this is piss poor. I’d also suggest that WFC has thrown the towel in on the team rather too quickly without exploring the possibility of fielding a youth team in an open age lower league (some clubs have this year) #wxmafc
