This is upsetting. Young artists with talent and promise need steady gigs, not to break out as stars overnight but just to stay employed, make progress, and build up work. Similar stuff's happening in other media but there's no future in comics if the market is all superstars all the time—hire Kara!

Speaking of Crash & Troy, this variant was the one Paris Alleyne did. Paris is so fucking awesome. He drew it and colored it himself. Dude is very talented and very nice.

I honestly think the comic colorist community is the most welcoming and helpful corner of comics. I’ve seen the advice handed out in Discords. The amplifying done when Colorist Jams were around. Recommending each other for gigs when they have enough to share. You are better with them on your side.
