In a move that will transform the largest network of LPR cameras in the nation, Flock announced that every existing Flock LPR camera can soon become video-enabled at no cost to the customer.
“Flock customers don’t have to do a thing or pay a thing,”
Well isn't that awfully nice of them.

"But the Flock spokesperson acknowledged that, despite previous statements that it did not have any federal contracts, including with ICE, the company did not sufficiently disclose to its customers last year that it had given CBP and HSI access to its national camera network."

Privacy stalwarts in Congress just bought us 10 more days to put together a bill that actually reforms Section 702. Keep pushing.
Congress is voting to renew FISA Section 702 — the dangerous surveillance law that lets the NSA and FBI search Americans’ calls and texts without a warrant.
Watch @trevortimm.bsky.social explain, and TELL THEM: No spying on Americans without a warrant. Period.

Communities across the country are winning real victories against Flock's creepy surveillance tech.
Our movement to protect our privacy is growing by the day.
That looks like a lot more than the 4 people you shot from the sky and then reported @atlantanewsfirst.com
ATL: we’re outside Flock HQ telling Flock and the entire police tech industry that surveillance will never bring us safety!

With federal agents becoming more aggressive and committing more constitutional violations, states must act to make sure we can hold these agents accountable in court.
Justice can't wait.

We shouldn't have to live in a surveillance state.
Tell your representative to protect our privacy and vote NO.
NEW: In the middle of the night, the House tried to pass a bill that would have given President Trump and Stephen Miller the power to spy on Americans without a warrant for years to come.
It failed due to pressure from the public — but they plan to vote again in just 2 weeks.
Flock is calling audit logs obtained via FOIA requests "false claims". You can't make this shit up.
President Trump is urging Congress to renew Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, but lawmakers in both parties oppose extending it without reforms. Congress now has a chance to protect Americans’ privacy. bit.ly/4tASUmW
Madison Square Garden was a frontrunner in using facial recognition technology to keep legal opponents from going to concerts and sporting events. Interesting piece from Wired about the security apparatus there more generally.

And now, two shareholders are forcing the question that Home Depot’s board would rather not answer: Is this company helping immigration enforcement find its own customers?

Every time you pull into a Home Depot parking lot, there’s a camera reading your license plate. The company hired a vendor called Flock Safety to install them. Flock’s network connects to federal authorities.

The city council wouldn't let me speak after I prepared a testimony and showed up early, so I've booked a media appearance every day this week to let Atlanta know that there is absolutely no accountability for grown men viewing private cameras of kids without authorization or consent.
Just 3 days ago, the story broke showing Flock employees viewing camera feeds in a private community center, including but not limited to the children's gymnastics room and daycare areas.
In the days following Hunyar's post about Flock employees accessing MJCC cameras, Georgia attorney general and gubernatorial candidate, Chris Carr posted on LinkedIn in support of one of the two named employees.
Despite promising to tell users before giving their data to law enforcement, Google handed Amandla Thomas-Johnson's data to ICE in 2025 without giving him the chance to challenge the government's invalid subpoena. We're urging the AGs of CA and NY to investigate Google for deceptive trade practices.
