It looks like electrical outlets might have given you "shots", not destroyed you. Ceiling ducts were bad too.

Of the 93 senior thesis projects (we call them Div IIIs) that I have had the honor to advise, about 30 of those students have gone on to some type of graduate program (with many more working in biotech, academic research, or their chosen area of interest). (3/4)
I was pushed to learn more and grow as a person every day. I worked with students in areas of science that I didn't even know existed before starting here (not to mention assorted art, literature, and politics projects). (2/3)
I have been a professor at Hampshire for 15 years, and it has been the most incredible, stressful, exhausting, and rewarding time in my life. I am incredibly fortunate to have worked with so many inspiring staff and faculty. But the students are really what made this place what it was. (1/2)
I am broken-hearted at the terrible news that my alma mater, @hampshirecollege.bsky.social, after 56 yrs, is closing. Its death is a victory for conformism, for corporatism, for higher education's dull love of hierarchy & status. It's a grievous defeat for imagination & experimentation.
Devastating: Hampshire College is permanently closing following the Fall 2026 Semester. A beautiful institution & community that has done so much for so many. My child is a current Hampshire senior. Hampshire's approach to education is so unique, humane, & exciting—I've seen it first hand. Tragic
