Sadly we still do not have full power so the kitchen is closed for hot food for now. We do have some freshly made rolls available at the bar. We use rolls from the amazing Good Loaf on Clare Street. We thank everyone for their continued support. We'll have some Goffs Ales on soon too! 🍻

It's Alt Book Club tonight and as a bit of a break from chonky books we've been reading The Little Grey Men by "B.B." aka Denys Watkins-Pitchford. He was a local author - born at the rectory in Lamport. This is one of my favourite childhood books and it's been wonderful to read it again. 📖

Hallo lovely people. We had a bit of a week last week. We had a cellar overhaul with new lines etc & it's beautiful. However, there's an electrical fault under our scaffolding so the first floor has very little power. Tonight's talk will be in the basement I think. Fresh rolls & lovely ale on too.

We are having one or three electrical issues but we are very much open. We can't take any more bookings or walk-ins for food this Sunday, but we have plenty of drinkies for you. Cheers! 🍻
