Just called all my representatives. Cornyn’s office, no answer, left voicemail. Cruz’ office, no answer, left voicemail. Fletcher’s office, a human answered and I was so shocked I asked, “is someone there?” As if I’d never called someone.

My friend was labeled the ‘r’ word in the early 70’s. We now know he is autistic, has a great career and is a talented photographer.

I want this to be true. My fear is how long, for my daughter’s sakes.

In school we would have ‘opposite day’ and we would be mean to each other and laugh. Right now we are living in ‘opposite day’ everyday and it’s not fun.

Yes, there is something to be said about knowing the price (time and money) of dry cleaning, getting a coffee, groceries/eggs, oil change, or urgent care visit (even if you can afford it) that keeps one grounded in reality. (Not sarcasm)

If one part of us is hurting, all of us are hurting. 1 Corinthians 12:26. Listening to Shane Claiborne reminding us how big God’s love is. A love not limited to those that look like or act like a certain way or certain boundaries.
