Cockroaches don’t seem to die either. Ugh.

I cannot wait for the day when I do not hear/read that horrid man’s name on the news. What a glorious day that will be.
Oh, thank you for the shoutout! ❤️
Groceries were 150% of what they were last time. I think the economic #trumpslump is starting to infiltrate our everyday life. Super.
$26 million.
Trump has spent 26 million tax payer dollars to play golf in West Palm Beach...so far.
Silver tabby cat looking up at the camera, with huge and expressive eyes. She wants cheese very very much
This is Ella, an almost 12yo species of particularly invasive lap fungus. She’s got 5 thumbs, a birthmark on her eye, and we named her for Ella Fitzgerald because she walks around singing. She has been wheezing and getting thinner and thinner lately, and scans show cancer in her lungs. I’m broken.
Every left-leaning woman in your life is getting heavy into arts and crafts right now because they don’t know what else to do with their rage
What lip color goes best with existential dread?
Omg! This is *incredible* and I’m so inspired.
An embroidered quilt panel
A handstitched embroidery on denim for my quilt panels. I found a sparkly earring in the junk box at the charity shop and added it for that little touch of bling ✨️
Love it! I may have to get this pattern because I know my husband would *love* it. :)
Can JD be impeached too? Bc it seems to me that he totally is as culpable in this travesty as the Don.
Also: PDF pattern drop— Jean jacket pattern that has taken me forEVER to figure out but I did it! I DID IT. Woo! And a half-clamshell apple core pattern in 3 sizes and 3 options that is fat quarter friendly. My Etsy shop is messygoatsews ❤️
It’s been a heck of a week. Lots of quilt ideas swimming around in my head so I can respond to current events in a more constructive way than just worrying or mouthing off. *sigh*
Yeahhhh… I considered making chocolate chip cookies today but didn’t want to “spend” the eggs that way. Seemed too indulgent.
FebruARTy … #quiltsky #quilting #februarty #inspiringartists I made this quilt based on a section of a digital painting I designed in Procreate a few years ago, testing a technique I hope to teach someday.

This is stunning! Love it love it
HAHAHAHAAAAAA I love this one. 🤣
I’m giving this past week sideeye. Totally. FebruARTY day 8. (I didn’t do the first seven but whatever) #quiltsky #quilting #quilts #improvquilting
Colorful quilt that says “WHEN EVERYONE YELLS NO ONE CAN HEAR”
Just adding to the online art show… keep pushing back, friends. Take care of yourselves. ❤️
I found a source for half-clamshells so that construction is a bit easier, and they will be available in three sizes! Yay!
Half-clamshell quilt blocks in a very colorful gradient array using Cherrywood Hand-Dyed Fabrics, lightest in the top left center and darkening on the way to the edges.
Very colorful half-clamshell quilt blocks made from Cherrywood Hand-Dyed Fabrics in a random arrangement on the design wall.
How I spent my retreat this past weekend… pattern testing! I promised this pattern by the end of the month so I was walking through my instructions and making sure I had all the diagrams I should have. Getting much closer, and I have something pretty too! #quilting #cherrywoodfabrics
Made this using Sam Hunter’s “Quilt Talk” book in 2021. I haven’t finished putting it together because I think I want to size down his name a little bit so it isn’t the longest line, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet. I think it’s time.
I’ve made 10 of these. Two aren’t shown here because I either don’t have it anymore (I took it apart because it was too small for Santa’s elves) or because it was the prototype and isn’t quite right. But after a year of hard work, I think I finally have figured out this garment pattern stuff.
I love IYKYK work like this. Especially when people who don’t know (and wouldn’t like the meaning) gush and gush about the clever design at quilt shows. Warms every cockle of my heart.
I’ve been hard at work getting my GenX Jacket pattern finished and ready to go. I’m excited but a bit worried about being able to keep up with orders… because of the size of it I’ll only be able to sell physical copies and I don’t enjoy the shipping part.
I’ve been away. I’m tentatively peeking back in. *sigh*
Scary times for marginalized communities… nervous.
