T.M. is no mere entertainer, but a manipulator of dark powers indirectly linked to Mr. Dark. From the beginning, he pretends to be an ally in order to study Rayman and grasp his limitations; his bonus trials serve to gather useful information for the enemies of the Glade of Dreams.<nln>The flash of his scepter erases memories and covers his tracks. He always hides his eyes behind his top hat, detectors of his true nature and the forbidden magic he uses. Mr. Dark watches Rayman out of fear, T.M. out of calculation and strategy. T.M. becomes the secret source of information that Mr. Dark uses to set his traps.<nln>The fact that the T.M. said that Mr. Dark has begun to threaten the Glade and must be defeated at all costs is because he is already known there, drawing attention solely to him.<nln>After Mr. Dark's defeat, T.M. disappears so as not to arouse suspicion, but continues to operate in the shadows, more dangerous than before and after having gnawed that Mr. Dark has revealed himself to be incompetent and Rayman is still alive, he still has to cover up his hatred for a while, before finally slipping away, pretending to have "disappeared" and covering all his tracks.<nln>Betilla suspects him, sensing distortions in his magic, but has no concrete proof. T.M. fears Betilla (and, to a lesser extent, her sisters), the only one capable of recognizing the unnatural nature of his powers. To provide a perfect cover, he acts friendly and cooperative, allowing him to study Betilla and approach Rayman without suspicion. Their relationship is a tense balance of smiles and hidden mistrust. Since Betilla protects Rayman, T.M. never dares to manipulate him directly.<nln>T.M. from Rayman Origins is just a copycat, fascinated by the legend of the original T.M., but he doesn't have the depth and danger of T.M., besides being of a different species (he's a Teensie) and having his eyes exposed.<nln>The original T.M. continues to watch Rayman, waiting for the right time to return

My idea for 10 new crate types to bring more variety! 🔶 Accounting crates for the (colored) gem 🔷 Non-accounting or separate collectible crates 🔶Onewayer: Regular crate with 2 arrows engraved indicating the direction it will go if Crash bounces on it repeatedly, then when it reaches its goal, he can crash it; 🔶Boomtrick: Regular crate with a TNT or Nitro label: can be confused and/or missed if not observed better in certain details; 🔶Neighwave: Can crash other crates if close to it, does not damage Crash but pushes him away, very serious near ledges or explosive crates; 🔷Helper: If die multiple times in the same level, a special crate will appear near Crash that - if broken - can give us some help items to help us move forward, such as Aku-Aku’s triple mask; 🔷Whatodoo: An uncrashable crate that - if hit - will project a hologram to give us some explanation on what to do and will happen to us later, sometimes it can even give us clues such as the location of certain strategically hidden crates; 🔶Manpresser: 2 trap crates placed on the sides that activate only when Crash stands between them, after which the boxes will brutally try to crush him, but with the right promptness they are both crashable; 🔷Whereleadoo: Elusive and well-hidden crate with a portal engraved on it that - if broken - creates a teleporter in front of us: once inside, it takes us to a part of a level much further ahead, thus giving us a little taste of what that level will be like once we actually reach it and also to get some collectibles that are impossible to get normally in that level; 🔶Cowacrate & Forbcrate: 2 living crates with the same look as a regular one but opposite roles: as soon as they hear a nearby crate crash or Crash getting too close to them, the Cowacrate runs away from Crash, the Forbcrate attacks Crash, both jumping and turning around;

Don't ask me why, but I just know that I love these figures so much that I cut them out by hand from the cardboard packaging featuring those characters to promote the latest SpongeBob movie, so fond of and grown up with the 1st movie that I haven't yet seen the subsequent ones. Do I feel happier now? Definitely less sad than before, but still nothing on Squidward (my fave and the most representative on me), while Mr. Krabs and Gary are still in the collection waiting to be completed (hoping I don't get duplicates, in which case I'll give them away).

I wish I could stop time, because today is my best day... my Crash crashed! And tomorrow my heart might rebel... Dark humor aside, while I was playing Crash on the ReRun, recently resurrected by fans, I was competing in a tournament to improve my record time and expand my guild, the N. Core Dodgers (anyone who wants to join the crew, come forward). The trophy icon (up-left) is the key to improving the ranking among rival guilds and the value of that trophy increases as you survive, with the malus being that the session speeds up as it goes. I never went above 330-340, so you can imagine how tense I was, with my heart racing, my eyes bulging and my finger on high alert... but soon an obstacle arrived, so big that not even the greatest ace of aces could overcome it... The process freezes and after a few seconds "crash", but I admit that my biggest fear was anything but the game. Bitter pill digested, the tenacious gamer me decided to start playing again, ignoring what had happened.

I'm Italian, I live in Italy, so I have to love football at all costs because it's such an overrated sport that it's polluted the entire Italian pop culture? I was thinking about it while I was at a chain store trying out the PS5 once again, and among the many games listed on the main screen (no Astro Bot, sorry...) there was only EA Sports FC 25 available to boot... I find myself in a dilemma where, even though I know there's so much interest in that series, I still wanted to try to understand why it's still so loved, only to then be piled up in the used bins as soon as a new annual edition comes out, going to suffocate other games that remain in the used bins and are waiting for a possible new owner. Quick assessment of the character models and animations: Skin as smooth as cuttlefish, expressions as stiffable idiots, movement like spasmodic monsters and the speed of a chronically tired person with constant whippings from behind, alternating aggression due to the game's excessive automation (it seems like a management game with few moments of interactivity). We've reached the point where replicating realism has made sports simulations even more predictably bland, which I was already criticizing more than 15 years ago, and the situation has even worsened, to the point that the beauty remains only in the annually updated players. I also have the bad feeling that the developers either don't want to or are inept at replicating certain realistic details, but mostly on the character models that seem to have the beauty filter to satisfy the carnal fantasies of the lobotomized flagphiles. When it comes to re-evaluating the latest Mario Strikers, which to call the biggest disappointment of the series would be an understatement, it means that we are at the fruit and are letting it rot and tweak it annually for minimum effort and maximum performance. Even today, I still enjoy listening to soccer video game soundtracks (especially International Superstar Soccer)...

Way back on 25 Dec. 2025, after returning home from my uncles' Christmas dinner, instead of resuming the 1500-piece puzzle, I decided to channel surf and this movie came to me... it would have been better if I had resumed the puzzle. With every scene I saw, I tried to understand why that film was considered a cult, then I went to read about it on the web and discovered that it is from the 70s and by Steven Spielberg from the direction and screenplay. At that time, audiences couldn't have done anything better than elevate a film with a predictable and trivial plot, seemingly endlessly long, and with scenes that repeat themselves even from different angles (like the professor repeating in different ways). I couldn't stop laughing at the narrative solutions brought to the screen and the idiocy of the characters set up like that, otherwise the plot wouldn't progress. The movie's saving grace is its final part, after the two useless protagonists (heterosexual, to use the excuse of the kiss that-must-be-there, even though he is married with children) discover the truth: choreography and "special effects" well-constructed and staged by the standards of the time. For the rest, the movie can even be watched at 5x and skipping many dead parts, besides the fact that the plot is rather weak and ineffective, so much so that I spent the time making light of every single detail that was, for me, out of place with my jokes, because it was a bore to watch it in the long run. And there are aliens, who kidnap people at random and to bring those people back to earth they set up an orchestra of communicative sounds (as if the aliens have no translator for the human language)... once that is done, the people will finally exit the ship... as if they just finished taking a piss: since they have no emotional evolution and appearance. When the aliens finally arrive, they appear as dwarf men with a pinkish-grey complexion who simply greet the humans with a smile, then return to the ship...

Unlike many Nintendo 64 games that use EEPROM (from 4 to 16 Kbit, depending on the format) which, consequently, limits the number of slots or amount of savable data, Rayman 2 (and Tonic Trouble, Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers and 30s other games) uses a more generous and economical (and also long-term) 32 KB SRAM. It was even faster and easier for developers to integrate. The official emulator on N. Switch Online (and also Virtual Console and many very old or very new unofficial emulators), if not supported by the emulator and not correctly set to that type of format and amount of memory to save game data, what happens? It generates corrupt .eep or .sav files, preventing from loading the progress, forcing to use quick saves as a temp solution and wait for Nintendo to fix it ASAP and stop, again and again, doing things sloppily.
