I get what you mean, but I feel like they manage to thread the needle giving us more info in each episode than those shows ever did so it's not nearly as frustrating long term (for me anyway!)

As a kid I always liked to imagine that the people in Star Wars were speaking their own language, but it was being translated for us, the viewer - so it's more like 'See you in [place akin to hell for our culture]' and not our english version of Hell. It's the closest approximation word.

I think that's probably why he's my favorite character in it ~ I know a lot of people really hated his movies, but if you just want to have a good time and enjoy yourself for a bit they're better than the rest IMO (and yes that includes Quantumania for me, I don't care that it's stupid it's fun AF!)

I think washing machines usually do work best if you close the door, that way all the soap and water stays inside. But I'm no pro washer, so who can say. (srsly though a loud machine is obnoxious, but not worth the repair cost 9/10 times!)
I'm working on inking a new design and the last thing I said to my wife last night before bed was "I spent the last hour drawing a waffle different than how I sketched it, only to go 'Myeh, I don't like this' and delete him. But that's art for ya." 🧇 Too true.
