I captured the Andromeda Galaxy with an integration time of seven hours and forty-five minutes. I just finished processing it. π

A cosmic butterfly spreads its fiery wings across a sea of stars β IC 1318, the Butterfly Nebula. Wisps of glowing red and orange gas twist and curl in space, set against the inky black of the universe. This vast emission nebula lies in the Cygnus constellation, about 4,000 lightyears from Earth.

A beautiful zone surrounding the massive Antares star located in the Scorpious constellation.
Taken in Atacama using Askar V telescopes and ZWO ASI2600MC pro cameras, in collaboration with @cybertron-astrophoto.com.

I didn't disagree with anything you stated. You're correct, but her going too hard at Biden came off as she was attacking Obama's record, which didn't go very well with the base and party when Obama was too popular at that moment
She unfortunately screwed up by going against the record of a very popular dem president in 2019. The black caucus had to bring her behind close doors to stop it. That debate was unfortunately her undoing

Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS
So my piece of good news: my shot of Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS was shortlisted for the @dias.ie Reach For The Stars #astrophotography competition again.
It's up for the public vote alongside absolutely fantastic competition: I'd obviously love your vote!

The eagle nebula. This version of the image differs from the original post by having richer colors and a more defined core, emphasizing the pillars of creation area.
I took a second pass at the data and took a slightly different approach with the processing. Let me know what you think.

Snapped this image of the North America Nebula last night! π Located in the Cygnus constellation, this massive emission nebula gets its name from its uncanny resemblance to the shape of North America. It lies about 1,700 light-years away and stretches over 100 light-years across. Always wild to think how much beauty is out thereβjust floating in space. β¨πͺ

Image shows the Askar V telescope next to the extender, reducer, flattener and 60mm attachments
To anyone that might be interested. Highpoint has the Askar V for 46% off. Crazy deal

A boatload of space dust in Ursa Major. A bit blobbish. Maybe somewhat ghostly. Recommend an antihistamine.
Thereβs no known (to me) catalog designation, but this is a cloud of molecular dust in Ursa Major. This image is the result of about 32 hours of integration time using ~800 sub-exposures. Taken with my Takahashi Epsilon in Southwest New Mexico. #astrophotography #photography
it's the Hercules Globular Cluster M13, and itβs absolutely wild to think about. You're looking at around 300,000 stars crammed into this tiny region of space, all bound together in a gravitational dance. Just imagine standing on a planet inside that clusterβ¦ the night sky would be lit up like a cosmic fireworks show every single night. Mind. Blown.

I'm still new and learning the world of astrophotography. I was just curious as to what the benefits of using the red filter on your moon imaging were π
This is so cool... This is some of the amazing scientific stuff I would like to eventually do with my telescopes
I monitored the large sunspot AR4079 this morning for 3.5 hours in h-alpha. Caught some minor flares and small filament eruptions. The small prominence in the lower right put on a short but good show. I was hoping for more excitement but a watched sunspot never explodes! #astrophotography
At last! The Thor's Helmet image is in the bag -- not perfect, could always use more data and tweaks, but after working on nothing else since mid-January...I think it's done! Supernova remnant in hydrogen and oxygen, RGB stars. 8" RC telescope.

Glowing blue cosmic cloud looking sort of like a dolphin.
Scary, unsettling times on this world. Meanwhile, 5,000 light years away, this beautiful giant cloud, the Dolphin Nebula, glows, blown by hot winds from a massive star. About 60 light years across, it covers an area about the size of a full moon in our skies. π§ͺ

Imaging session on NINA imaging software, with an image showing satellite trails
I'm just an infant when it comes to this hobby... But I can only imagine the frustration of astronomers and scientist with all the satellites orbiting Earth. Nothing like satellite trails to kill an imaging exposure ππ€¦πΎββοΈ

Yeah, that price was too good to pass up for all that comes with it. Plus lazy Geek had a pretty positive review of it as well
Hope you're happy... You've just enabled my astrophotography addiction... Just placed my order ππ€£ just saw the Lazy Geeks review, than just saw your post on the bundle, and couldn't help myself and pulled the trigger π€·πΎββοΈ
