Selection process

All eligible self-nominations will be reviewed by the EJP editorial board. The winner will be selected based on scientific quality, methodological rigor, theoretical innovation, and potential impact. The winner will be announced in July 2026.

3. Optional: A short statement (max. 150 words) on why this paper makes a significant contribution to personality psychology.

Deadline: 15 May 2026

2. A brief statement of eligibility (1–2 sentences): e.g., “At the time of submission (DD.MM.YYYY), I was enrolled as a PhD student at [Institution].” or “I received my PhD on [date] and submitted the manuscript on [date].” ⬇️

Self-nomination is open to first authors of EJP 2025 articles (Vol. 39, Issues 1–6) who, at submission, were doctoral students or within two years of their PhD. ⬇️
