This is Millie. She just learned how to sled. Hopes you brought a second land frisbee, because she will not be taking turns. 13/10 (TT: millietheredlab)

YES THIS

also FOMO goes right out the window, as in, sure, I could go out to all the hot spots OR I could lie here in bed with my iPad watching @dropout.tv with at least one cat dozing alongside, hmmmm, I guess the cool kids will just have to have fun without me

Playing D&D online with friends while working on a sweater for my son. He chose the blue, yellow, and green and I added the cream to help break up the blue and green, because they are very similar in person. Hoping to get it done by "winter sweater day" for his school on Thursday. We'll see!

I have missed my knitting and D&D group so much. Love how fast this cardigan is knitting up and it's going to be very squishy and cozy when it's done. ๐Ÿงถ

I do not split keyboards, but chair support and desk height were important for my back and, weirdly, my elbows.

I have put off finishing a crochet sweater because of how much I disliked doing the ribbing on the neck and you know what... Knitting is a great idea. I might do that for the rest of it.

Picture is the cover of the book Anathema by Keri Lake. The back of a girl with long black hair in a long black dress is walking into a dark forest while crows fly overhead. The dark trees are leafless and look like they are trying to grab the girl.

Current read: Anathema by Keri Lake. So far I like it, about 25% of the way through. It definitely has strong gothic vibes and the magic system and world building are interesting. I also love a weird crow girl.

If it's for one color, maybe, but for two colors, it would end up more like a fair isle tube. If you want some DK tips, Lattes and Llamas has a tutorial on their website that really helped me when I first started doing it.

I think it'll depend on the pattern, but all the ones I've knit have used purling. I've also only done two-color double knits that do both sides at the same time, so you're knitting the stitches on the side facing you and purling the ones away from you.

Hello again, Bsky. Life has been busy, but I've missed having a creative community to engage with. I'm currently working on a Seaglass Cardi by @woolandpine.bsky.social using some Knit Picks Swish DK in Dove mixed with various fingering/DK in cool colors. It's so squishy, I'm already obsessed.

Sharing this because I'm seeing a lot of nymphs lately... If you see a spotted lanternfly and it's not native to your area (which I think is China and Vietnam), KILL IT. Here's a picture with the various life stages, I'm seeing the early stage nymphs right now (black with white spots). Smoosh them!

Blue Ash is fantastic! Camp Washington is my favorite, but they're a very very close second.

Cincinnati-style chili might be slop, but it's OUR slop. And it's delicious. Especially when it's not from a chain, but the little neighborhood restaurants.

It sounds like LaRosa's but somehow worse.

I looked at the authors on my shelves (I've got a copy of Starter Villain), followed all of them, and then also followed other authors they follow. Because books are rad and so are the people that write them (sometimes).

Snowdrops Cami by Nomad Stitches/Sandra Gutierrez

Both are tanks and available on the designers' sites. All the tees I have saved are higher backed, unfortunately.

What kind of silhouette are you looking for? Tee/tank/strapless? I can think of a few from designers with their own sites.
