Quilt in red, white and blue, with center of hourglass blocks, bordered by red, white and blue borders in succession. Pattern by Minick & Simpson, and I used their fabrics, too.

Open diary pages showing (erasable) pen sketches of patchwork layouts marked with fabric colours and a very dodgy sketch of a cockatoo.
Held a project planning meeting with myself. Options were raised and discussions held about sizing and colour combinations. Overall quite productive, and specific questions generated that can be addressed in due course.

I’ve finished hand sewing the binding on the king size Barn Star quilt (extended in size - S.Cavanna pattern). My grandson (2) has stolen clips, watched me sew in stolen minutes while he’s eating, & was SO SURPRISED by all the colors as I opened it after the last stitch! “Wow! Sleep! Yay!”

#quiltsky, what do you do with your quilting fabric scraps? I'm drowning in scraps (many of them good sized) and wish I had a quick and easy way to process them after moving to a new sewing room. Looking for suggestions so they don't just get thrown away. Giving them away is certainly an option.
