So true. Years ago we went to a Winnie The Pooh adaptation at Manitoba Theatre for Young People and after the show, the kids got to go onstage and through the trees of the hundred acre wood. It was magical! #kidlitchat

And accents from different parts of the US. As a Canadian I didn’t think about the range of pronunciations and pacing until
I saw readaloud videos pop up. #kidlitchat

As much as I’d love to see my PB, DARK CLOUD, animated, I think the personal nature of the topic (depression) and @pennynl.bsky.social’s gorgeous art would work well as a theatre piece. Stage adaptations can be so powerful for kids. #kidlitchat
