Earlier this week, Institute researchers shared their work at The 16th Annual TBI Conference at UPenn. Dr. Allie Tracey presented a poster in collab w/ Drs. Amanda Rabinowitz & Lauren Krasucki on the use of EMA to capture time-of-day & activity demand effects on persistent post-concussion symptoms.
Our Institute was well-represented at #ASNR2026 last week! Dr. Rachana Gangwani chaired a symposium on cognitive contributions to Motor Performance & presented a poster w/ Dr. Laurel Buxbaum examining the neural substrates of arm non-use in individuals after stroke.

Check out this paper by Dr. Lyn Turkstra & colleagues! Conversations in #msTBI are dynamic, yet research often uses static measures. Suicidal thoughts & behaviors are a serious concern after #TBI, & Dr. Amanda Rabinowitz is working on research that aims to identify risk factors associated with these thoughts & behaviors, so clinicians know who needs help & how best to intervene.
