Another thing that works out well is that El Cielo is slightly taller than Shun. Shun is listed at 180 and TNR was listed at 183.

Yeah he’s basically the ideal guy for it. Also Kato using his finisher when Kato returned and talking about being disappointed in him leads to it perfectly.

fwiw, Sugiura was always the plan. Likely would have been an in ring angle to set up whatever this match on the Noah show would have been had Ozawa not got hurt instead of backstage though.

GM decides to do a rematch in an unsanctioned match type in Korakuen to handle the interference. He doesn’t know what that match type is yet.

An associate of Flamita/Bendito is spending summer vacation here, he’s the one doing the sns videos, posters, and setting up the camera for the house shows.

He’s going home soon though.
